Vehicle Description

1953 Dodge "Job Rated" B-Series TruckI bought this truck years ago and drove it on the weekends around town and used it as a tailgater (Pics attached) for 2 years. The truck has little to no rust. The truck has been reliable but is not something you would drive long distances since the top speed is around 35 MPH. The truck was was mostly finished with I bought it.Mileage is unknown but shows 43,681. Oil and filter changed yearly, Premium fuel (95 Octane) used with Lead Substitute.Truck was repainted when I purchased it, previous owner called it Jaguar Green. Since it sits for month at a time it often times takes some starting and stopping to get the brakes to not grab. I honed one brake cylinder that was leaking and it seems to help but have driven in little since, in other words the brake work but could be freshened up. The normal leaks are there on the engine but doesn't burn any oil. The radiator is original as I can tell. I replace the wires and plugs when I bought it. The fuel pump stopped working so I upgraded to an electric pump with a switch (See pic) and wired directly via a fuse to the battery so it would be need to be wired to ignition or would work as it is. The interior is in great shape. I bought an the interior kit from dcmclassic.com and installed it with floor mat as shown. Instrument panel does work but hard to see some of the gauges. I am unsure how accurate the speedometer is but seems to be relatively accurate. The box is not correct its from a 1952-3 (?) International truck box, but I think it looks better then the dodge box of this year. The engine, I was told was rebuild but I cant tell. The original owner installed the Plymouth (See Pic - 218ci) engine in it and added the 3 speed manual. I have weather strips and window as well as some shifter parts that go with the truck. The back wood box I made for it as a "pop-up" TV stand for when we tailgated, it will go with the truck. Under the wood box is a metal not wood bed. The old trunk acted as my truck tool box, it is beat up but I reinforced it and sealed it (Very old trunk) and it included with the truck. I upgraded to 18in wheels bought new from Speedway and powder coated black at a local shop. Spare is shown in pics for the original wheel & tire, I think as I have never had it down.It has an aftermarket radio that did work but when I installed the new interior I cut the speaker wires but it could easily be hooked back up it wanted. The bumper was made by the previous owner with a hitch mound but I have only placed a basket on it once so it was rarely used. Heater works. Keep in mind this is an old truck so its not perfect. I does have a little dent you can see in the pic with the tv stood up (Drivers fender bottom), very minor done by the previous owner. Its been an incredible truck to me and my family but it now sits and isn't as enjoyed as much as it once was.Shipping not included but will help with loading and communication with shipper. Happy to show in person with notice.I have several other pictures if needed. If interested I have a dual carb set intake I bought brand new from Speedway (New in the box) several years ago, that I will included as it won't fit anything else I currently have.Serial Number82303898Year1953MakeDodgeModelB-4-B108EngineP24-30?838 (See picture) - Filled in by myself.Wheelbase108Rating1/2 TonEngineering CodeT306PlantDetroit, MichiganBuild Number1898https://www.t137.com/registry/help/decode.php
