Vehicle Description

1971 Dodge D100 long bed. Clean California title in my name. Currently registered and insured. This is solid running truck, perfect for any day driving, car show, cars & coffee, etc. Main picture is from this past Saturday 3/29/2025, at the Good Guys show in Pleasanton, CA. It ran great and fast, 75-80 mph on the freeway.Different pictures show of the truck can be seen as it was back in 2016, stock ride height with original suspension. Pictures of the suspension build in the shop were taken back in 2020, and then current pictures from the last 2 years.

Truck is for sale locally. If you are out of state and want someone local to inspect it, please contact me first.

History- Sold at Westlake Dodge, Daly City, CA. 3 previous owners before I purchased it back in 2016. This was originally at small block 318. Not sure when 440 was installed. No performance specs on the engine. I owned this for 3 years (2016-2019) sold it and purchased it back in June of 2022.

Paint- original paint, faded, some small spots of surface rust.

Body- mild dent on passenger side of bed. The rest of it is solid and rust free. No rust in roof rails, no rust in floors, rockers, bed, fenders. Very very, small hole on driver side floor pan. I did not install Dynamat or carpeting on floors so next owner can see condition. Obviously, the bed has been cut to accommodate the 4-link rear suspension and fuel cell. Previous owner had a shop make a raised bed to clear the C-notch. I had to remove it when I upgraded to a larger 20 gallon, Aeromotive Stealth 340 fuel cell, (baffled and in-tank fuel pump). It now has an access panel to the fuel cell.

Interior- Swapped original steering wheel for 15” Mooneyes metalflake. I have the original steering wheel and center cap. Bench seat is in really good condition, minor splitting on the driver side, side. Installed Dynamat on headliner and center console, and inside driver side door. Original dash pad has a couple of cracks.

All the suspension (front and rear) was done in 2020, and the Holley Sniper 4150 throttle body was added as well. Everything done from June 2022 through November 2024 was completed by me. Although the Gerst QA1 front IFS was installed, I was not happy with the front air bag suspension work, so I removed the brackets, bags and LCA’s. I purchased new LCA’s, coil over shocks, and a front sway bar (what would have come with the kit when purchased new).

I was going to remove the rear air bags and go with coil over shocks in the rear, but since I'm selling it, I'll leave it up to the new owner to decide what they want. I still have the first set of lower control arms that were plated to hold the air bags. The compressors and tanks are still connected and in place on the frame, controlled by the ALP3 controller.

Here's a quick rundown of what's been done since 6/2022:

  • Rebuilt transmission w/new torque converter, mild shift kit.
  • 20 gal Aeromotive 340 Stealth fuel cell w/in tank pump, baffles inside. (previous fuel cell was 15 gal w/ no baffles and external electric pump)
  • PTFE lined braided fuel line w/ AN-06 fittings Aeromotive filters.
  • 130 amp, 1 wire Tuff Stuff alternator, all new ground wire to chassis/engine, starter relay, heavy gauge wire, original voltmeter on dash bypassed.
  • New complete Holley Hyperspark Ignition Kit (distributor, coil, module, harness. (had only Sniper EFI throttle body before)
  • Holley EFI analog gauges (fuel, oil, temp, volt)
  • Optima battery
  • Removed air bags in front, purchased new QA1 lower control arms, coil over shocks/spring, sway bar.
  • New Cold Case radiator (2 row, but larger diameter tubes, dual electric fans w/relay) Can be connected to Sniper controller to turn on/off automatically.
  • New aluminum power steering brackets, pulley, and power steering cooler.
