1968 Dodge ChargerThis Charger was fanatically built for speed and reliability by Chuck’s Speed Center in Phoenix, AZ at a cost of $125k+ engine, trans, and other running gear upgrades alone!It was recently dyno’ed in October at 462 rear wheel hp (approximately 531hp at crank) / 751 ft pounds of torque.This car was built specifically to run in Arizona heat, while being reliable and FAST! It has been driven in 110 degree temps in Phoenix traffic with no overheating whatsoever. Stock shifter with custom-built gate for 4L85E-Reilly Motor Sports ”Alteration coil-over system/Street Handling” front suspension-Reilly Motor Sports “Street Lynx triangulated 4-link with coil-overs” rear suspension-Dana 60 rear axle-Wilwood 12.19 6-piston front brakes-Wilwood 12.19 4-piston w/parking brake rear brakes-Hydratech braking system (runs off power steering pump instead of vacuum) with Wilwood master cylinder-Custom built Edelbrock intake manifold (essentially, a pre-production Pro Flo XT Big Block EFI manifold)-Holley Dominator EFI w/ integrated transmission control-Circle Racing “94 Series” 18” Magnum 500 style billet wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson “Street Comp" tires (front 235/50R18) and Mickey Thompson "ET Street” tires (rear 305/45/R18) -Vintage Air A/C system-Dual Optima Redtop batteries in trunk w/ master kill switch-Custom-built Ron Davis aluminum radiator (wider for more surface area) with dual fans-Aftermarket ATC-style fuse block-Custom-built exhaust with Flowmasters and headers altered to fit the Mopar Mega Block-Line locker-New steering rackA few things to know:-The rally/temp gauge works but only intermittently, but the under dash accessory temp gauge works perfectly-Ammeter has been converted to a voltmeter-Headlight doors were converted from vacuum to electric-Wiper arms are currently off the car, but wipers work just fine-The radio doesn’t work-Note some bubbles in the paint in lower driver's side door and below the rear bumperThe car is available for inspection in Monterey, CA less than two miles from the Monterey Airport.
