1959 DeSoto Firesweep NO RESERVE!! QUALITY RESTORATION Appraisal in photos 2019

This car was a complete restoration by my father. The appraisal was done 11/2/19 when I inherited car. My understanding is that it was restored with removal of any rust then repainted and mechanically totally redone but I do not have records of this. As such this is based on his talking with me about it while he was alive. This car is a sportsman firesweep.

Vehicle Details

Very nice paint high, overall quality restoration and quality interior . The only nonfunctional item that I am aware of is the gas gauge does not work. also radio does not work. i had the brakes and hose, spark plugs, control bushings replaced in 2019. In 2024 I had the fuel pump replaced and carburetor and brakes worked on. The brakes catch the first time or two you hit them occasionally then work great. I drive this car 55-60 mph every weekend for about 15 miles. This is a car ready to use and enjoy.
