1941 Desoto convertible.with fluid drive automatic. This is an older restored car in amazing shape. The car from an estate out of midland Texas. This older gentleman amassed a car collection of over 40 cars. I have owned several classics and know a great car when I see one. This car shows no signs of patch panels or hammer marks on inside of fenders. The floor shows signs that it is factory with no sheet metal work done so first and most to me is that it is a solid solid car. My guesse if the car could speak is that it was a very pampered car. There is no bubbling on car the stainless and chrome are in great shape. All glass is in great shape and all windows roll up and down freely with no hesitation. The paint does show Sighn of ware scratches and nicks. The radio was completely rebuilt but I have not connected any wiring for it. The car does have a deluxe heater. Engine the engine starts every time for me and purrs I have a video I can send with engine running . That video was taken first thing in the morning and idles perfect afterwards.i have driven car up and down my block and runs good. The Intior is in good shape I don't know if the door panels are original to the car but they might . All original Desoto art deco door handles and window handles are in the car. The convertible top,the top bows have been restored and have period correct paint on them the material is in good shape and is upgraded canvas top not plastic. The convertible back window is hazy and would suggest replacing it. This is a factory power top which has all the components for it however I couldn't get top to work right I can here motor run but cannot get it to do its function.
