Listing this 1981 Delorean DMC-12 parts car. See all 279 photos below this description before bidding and please note, I only accept cash on pickup, bank wire transfer, or check, all that must clear before it leaves. This was recently found sitting for many years in a private collection that was part of an estate. This car was salvaged back in 1989 then found sitting in a salvage yard during the same time. It comes with an old salvage title, but I do not think it’s usable as the previous owner signed it in the buyer's section and never transferred it before their passing, see the photos of the title and make sure this works for you before bidding, so it is being listed as a non-running parts car. There are some receipts for parts bought over the years for it. I do not know if it's the original motor or not, see the 279 photos below. There’s also a piece of paper stating the car will not go into park, so I left in neutral which is the way I got it. I do not know the condition of the drivetrain and I have not tried turning the engine over as it has been sitting for many years. I did however show a photo of the oil on the dip stick, see photo. I do not know why the car was salvaged out back in 1989 but see all 279 photos and you be the judge. The back window is cracked/shattered, and I don't know how long it will last, see photos. The front windshield does have a crack, see photos. There are also areas of rust, see photos. Some parts like the taillights, engine air filter assembly, center top roof section and vented rear hatch are just sitting on for the photos and not bolted down. It does roll and steer easily when pushed. There is a key, but it is hard to take in and out. The doors and trunk are open for the photos as I was afraid to fully shut them and not be able to reopen them. There are parts missing like the front turn signal, steering column bottom plastic, latches, behind rear wheel body section, and I’m sure other parts, see photos. I bought it with the intentions of using it as a photo prop with my Ecto, but now I have nowhere to store it so I thought someone else could use it.
