799-mile, well-documented, mostly single-owner Delorean that has all known service records dating back to its original purchase. Recently serviced and extensively restored.The original owners, whom are believed to be a judge and her husband, purchased the car from Sam Nassi, the liquidator for Consolidated International, on October 9, 1984 and kept it mostly undriven in California and Washington until it was sold in December 2023. It’s believed that all service records from this ownership are retained.Services under previous ownership include:- Electric relay update kit- Clutch - Steel braided clutch line, master & slave- Fuel system & Engine - Fuel tank flush, new injectors, warm up regulator, spark plugs, Idle speed regulator motor- Coolant system - Hoses, aluminum radiator, water pump- Support - Louvre & hood struts, engine cover stay assembly- Window motor & regulator (LH)The car was acquired by its current owner in October 2024. Immediately upon purchasing, it was shipped to DMC CA to perform a service, replace failing parts (e.g. the alternator) or those that could be dangerous (e.g. the original fuel lines), and to refresh the cosmetics, while keeping the car as original as possible, given that the goal was for a Delorean that was “factory fresh”. Nearly $23,000 worth of services and restoration work were performed under current ownership. These include:- Cosmetic refresh - interior and exterior, incl. complete new interior carpet set, new seat leather, trim, outer door seals, A- and B-posts, fascia repaint and reinforced aluminum bar stock, louvre repaint & support brace installation, windshield frame repaint, new powder coated rock screen, & others- Coolant system refresh - incl. flush & replacement of various older parts- Fuel system refresh - incl. braided stainless fuel lines, hoses, filter, accumulator, & others- Electrical system refresh - incl. new alternator, inertia switch, & various wires & parts- New Hankook Kinergy ST H735 tires (in factory original sizes)- Oil and transmission fluid changeThe car has been garaged, covered, and babied ever since.
