Vehicle Description

This is a 1978 Datsun 280Z in the original Copper Paint, a basically complete car +, with some NOS parts included extras etc. Two Engines (the one in the car, pictured, # L28 465 449) and also included is a 280ZX Turbo Motor with a five-speed transmission. The current engine is a fine example and is wired to turn over in the car, but we have not run it (the gas tank is out of the car, but we have it and the mount straps) There are many parts still mounted in the car and a huge storage bin =8 ' X 6 ' X " packed with everything else. That would be rest of the interior = seats, panels, trim, covers, boxes, dashboard etc. There are 10 bins filled with parts, most of which look new or barely used = interior, exterior trim, panels, wire harnesses, control boxes, motors. We did a bin inventory that can be seen if need be. The two seats are in beautiful condition, matching and in the finest color, one very minor repair needed on one. The car is a rolling chassis right now; it rolls with the push of a hand and steers with the same ease. The R200 Differential and half shafts are cleaned off and currently out of the car right now. The Tires are Old, New Stock, one has a slow leak, but they are nice tires. This car needs to be seen to be believed. We welcome all inspections. It will make a significant difference seeing the car in person. Inspections are by appointment, only. BDL is the Hartford Ct. INT Airport to fly into and about 40 Minutes away from us.There is a four-speed transmission in the car now, the car was originally an automatic transmission car.Let us know what further pictures you may need. There is no title for the car, just a bill of sale for the car. Thanks JZWe acquired this car from a collector in the state it is currently in. The 280Z was stored high and dry, and well cared for. He was the second collector who had curated it.ThanksJZ
