Vehicle Description

1982 Datsun 280 ZX Turbo with removable tee-top, power door locks, power windows, power antenna, power mirrors, cruise control, a/c, original radio with cassette player, original owners manual. This beauty has been in the family since 1992 and always garaged, very rarely driven in the winter time. The original owner undercoated the car when new and there are no signs of rust in the fender wells, door panels or other places. The original carpeting and seat covers have not been removed. (slip covers over the original seat covers) Original tee-top storage bags in great shape. There are no known drivability issues and it was recently driven from Tucson to Salt Lake City. There are some issues which need to be addressed but due to health have not been. They are as follows:

  • Tears in the rack and pinion boots. I have the boots but has not installed.
  • Air conditioning system needs recharging after a new dryer is installed. I have new dryer but has not installed.
  • High pressure hose from power steering pump needs replacing- does not leak except when wheels are turned to the full left or right position.
  • Very small but annoying oil leak from engine pan.

    • With a little effort this amazing vintage vehicle can be brought back to it’s original condition.

    New struts (front & rear) last year. Rides great and hugs the corners. Turbo boost kicks in about 2800 RPM.

    This is the two seater not the 2+2.
