1982 Datsun 280ZX Project Car Barn Find

Vehicle Description

Barn find Datsun - needs complete restoration. I bought to restore but I found a T-top car so I'm doing that instead.
This car has all the typical Datsun rust. Floorboards, rockers, unibody frame, trunk/hatch area.
It has 200+ miles on it - it does run and lot drive - runs very rough - I planned on rebuilding, but will run to drive onto a trailer or truck. Clutch seems very good, brakes leak from somewhere, but do stop the car.
Interior is mostly there - but smells like a barn. Very dirty, need a good cleaning. Driver seat is torn,missing drivers side rear quarter cover. carpet needs replacing.
Body has been resprayed at some point. Fenders seem okay doors look okay but assume some rust under trim, rear quarters have some small rust areas. Hood has a small spot that been redone. Roof line has typical rust starting around window trim. Front windshield cracked - rest of glass is good. Power windows work.
