1970 Datsun 510 2 door
Recent cosmetic restoration including professional repaint inSpanish Red, black vinyl interior. All chrome was redone, and stainless steel was polished. All rubber has been replaced with Datsport rubber. Any rust was taken care of before paint (small amount in the lower front and rear fenders, replaced with metal, skim coated) no visible rust on the floors. Cleanest floor pan I've ever seen on a 510.
L16 4 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual transmission. The car was originally automatic, but was converted using a low mileage 240Z transmission. Engine received a complete tune up, new water pump/hoses, rebuilt carburetor, new fluids, new valve cover/fuel pump/thermostat seals, topped off by a polished original valve cover. 45k original miles believed. I am the 3rd owner of this car, and have history on the previous owners.
Brand new tires on refurbished wheels with polished hubcaps. New brake cylinders on rear, with fresh fluid.
Interior is in the original style, the seat centers aren't 100% accurate from a stock seat, but it looks and feels great. Seats were professionally reupholstered. New black headliner, new carpet on the transmission tunnel, original rubber floor mats. Has the original radio and dash pieces.
The car runs great and has been reliable since the car was finished a hundred miles ago. The car comes with a clear UT title, and original owners manual
