33 Years Young!
I am the original owner of this Datson, 280-ZX, T-Top, non-turbo. This was the last year the 280's were made and the last year under the name Datsun. This car has been retired since 1995 and goes out only for rallies or a Sunday drive.It has been garage kept and well cared for as you can see. It was repainted about 15 years ago due to a minor fender bender and a multitude of chip marks on the hood. It has new wires, plug, points, the works. It still starts as always at the turn of the key. Runs like new, rides like new!These are the second set of tires on the car and they are duplicates of the originals. This model was the first with a digital odometer and voice alerts ("fuel level is lowâ€, "? right door is openâ€, etc.) The Interior is leather and suede and is clean, great condition, and smoke free. It does have a few issues, The rear hatch needs new pistons to keep it open and the antenna does not extend all the way up when radio is turned on. The tape deck is not working. I have just discovered rust on the undercarriage drivers side. There is no rust on the door jams.
Any serious buyers living in the north Jersey area can see the car, by appointment only. Everything must go through e-bay for the sale.
