First generation of Z GT two-seat coupes, produced by Nissan Motors, Ltd. of Japan from 1969 to 1978. Nissan released the Datsun 280Z model for the U.S. market in the 1975 model year.

This car originally had the factory 2.8L (170cu in) L28E l6 cast-iron engine which produced 151hp. The LT-1 conversion increased the horsepower up to just over 350hp.
