The original 97 Glenn Pray Cords were made out of a material developed by US Rubber Company called Royalite which is made up of a foam core sandwiched between two vinyl layers. The material had a tendency to delaminate in high heat conditions which this car has some delamination showing on the hood over the turbo unit, and side fender. There is a product that was developed to repair the problem.(see pix)

Information found mentions "Expanded Royalite" being used as the body material for the 1964 Cord Sportsman by Glenn Pray. It was a thermoplastic material produced by the United States Rubber Company. This material, a sandwich of two sheets of solid ABS plastic and an ABS foam core, was designed to compete with fiberglass.
