A neat piece of French motoring history is up for sale. This Citroen 2CV has a long racing history in Europe and is a multiple race winner. Links to Youtube race footage from decades ago are below.
The car runs very good with no issues. It's been to the Columbus Cars and Coffee a couple of times this summer and was offered up for sale on another auction site but the buyer backed out. Here is your chance to own a super cool, one-of-a-kind Citroen!
The car is street legal with a clear Ohio title. Functioning lights, turn signals, horn, instruments. Has a full roll cage, racing seats with 5-point harnesses, a halon fire extinguisher system, racing modifications to the suspension and engine. The car is peppy and sounds great. 4 speed manual transmission shifts great through all the gears and the air-cooled 602 CC boxer twin doesn't miss a beat.
Door mounted lights illuminate the racing numbers at night and the roofline has lights running along it as well for night time racing back in the day!
Apparently there are a handful of these in the US...start your own racing series or go autocrossing with it...or drive it around town and turn some heads.
