For sale is a 1971 Citroën DS 21, a rare and iconic French classic that offers an excellent opportunity for restoration. This car features the Citromatic transmission, Citroën’s innovative semi-automatic gearbox, adding to its distinctive character. It is a U.S.-specification vehicle, but at some point a previous owner installed European-style swivel headlights, giving it the desirable Euro look.

The car currently runs when primed but will need fuel system work to run reliably. It was driven and parked in its current spot under its own power. The body and interior show age-appropriate wear and will need restoration, but the essential components, including the renowned hydropneumatics suspension system, appear to be intact though untested. Body appears to be free of any major rust

Please note that this vehicle is being sold as-is, with no title, and will come with a bill of sale only. There is no option for no title so I selected salvage. Due to the cars age getting a new title should be relatively easy. This is a project car, ideal for an enthusiast who appreciates the advanced engineering and design of Citroën’s most celebrated model. Buyer will be responsible for pickup or shipping.
