1947 Citroen Traction Avante

Introduced in 1934, the Traction Avante was one of the first to use front wheel drive and a unibody construction.
These french built cars retained the same styling thru 1957!
This 1947 model was converted to rear wheel drive with:

• Custom chassis
• Mustang II IFS
• 4.3 Chevy V-6 engine
• Chevy 350 turbo automatic transmission
• 8" Ford rear axle
• Vintage Aire Heat A/C
• Power brakes

Built for comfort & reliability, it was completed in July,1998.All components are either new or rebuilt. It runs and drives extremely well, and is very comfortable!
* There are few blemishes on the outside shown in the last few pictures but can be easily fixed. It really is in great shape and a one of a kind car!
