Up for sale is our red on black 1989 Chrysler Conquest TSi "SHP" (sport handling package) with roughly 111,000 miles on the odometer. I have well over 100 photos of this car inside and up, up and down so please message me if you would like to see more!
This Conquest recently underwent a large service with the following be new, serviced or replaced..- A/C works GREAT!! Converted to R134- New fuel pump, fuel hoses, filters and tank cleaned- Brand new Toyo tires- Brand new brake rotors & pads all around- New spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor, ignition coil & fusible linkes- All new vacuum lines, radiator hoses, thermostat, valve cover gasket and seals, new exhaust and intake manifold gasket and refurb..- New heater core hoses, injectors professionally cleaned & new injector seals- Fresh oil change & battery
Mechanically this car is in very good shape for the age with most wear items and "aged parts" being addressed in recent. The car could use some fresh shock absorbers..
This is a 1989 which is the last production year in the US market with only some 1988 & 1989 being selected with the SHP (sport handling package) This provided 1" wider front and rear wheels with a 0 offset and a fully adjustable dampener on all 4 shock absorbers by an adjustment knob. The transmission shifts well with no clunking or shifting flaws..
The car has NO rust as it was a California car for a majority of its life and Texas.. The underside is VERY clean with most of the suspension component’s still showing the factory black paint and markings etc. The exterior of the car was repainted some years ago and hasn't aged great. The car still shines up nice but does have chipped paint, fade and other generally worn marks that would require a repaint at some point.. The interior is all original showing a decent set of front seats and a nice non torn set of rear seats. The car has its original spare tire and jack kit with a very clean trunk pan. The dash shows some minor cracking starting on the dash area.
Overall the car as a whole is nice running and driving example with zero rust, corrosion, holds a clean title and recent service history..
