1962 Chrysler Newport Convertible

Vehicle Description

Big cool convertible garners a lot of attention wherever it goes with bold 60's style and high impact color. Car has power brakes, steering, and windows. Engine is a 413 (from a '64 300) andwas completely rebuilt to stock specs and detailedin 2016. Other recent work included a new fuel tank, and convertible top pump. The transmission is a 3 speedpush button automatic, and shifts smoothly.The car drives straight and smooth, and can handle highway speeds with ease. The only visible rust is a small area on the left edge of the trunk lid. The paint (base/clear)shines very well, but has imperfections, light scratches, and a chip or two. The trunk lid has a small dent from inside which was there when purchased by me. The top is in great shape with no damage or stains.Chrome bumpers were redone at some point and look great. Interior is near perfect.boot cover is damage free. Front floors were patched years ago and are holding up fine. Car needs a new e-brake release handle. I have the original, but is broken, but brake operates fine. The original AM radio has been internally modified to receive FM Stereo. The speaker is in the stock location in dash. All lights, gauges, operate as they should with the exception of the clock which is intermittent. The original owner's manual is with the car.If you have questions, call me at 518-265-9182.
