1979 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER "CHEYENNE"
Very nice, original patina '79 K5 Blazer with "Cheyenne" package. Great color combo in Colonial yellow and Frost White 2 tone. Sold new at North State Chevrolet in Greensboro, NC. I bought truck a few years ago in Nevada and had it shipped to Michigan. Been garage kept and winter stored since. Truck has 100% original paint. Has a few rust spots on exterior but nothing through. Truck does have rust in passenger side front floor pan for which I have a patch panel. Truck has all its original trim, and bumpers are in very nice shape.
Interior needs some work as shown. Everything is 100% original. Seats need to be redone and door panels could use replacement or attention. Carpet only in rear cargo section. Removable top in good condition. Top is currently off but I can put it back on for transport. Blazer has stock 350 V8 with 4 barrel carb and 350 turbo hydramatic. Factory 12 bolt rear and 4x4 which works as it should. Newer driveshafts. Truck is equipped with all options on window sticker including A/C, power steering and power disk brakes. A/C all hooked up but doesn't work.
Blazer sits on newer 6 inch Rancho lift. Tires are 31x10.5x15s. This is how I purchased the truck. Personally, I would have gone with a 2 or 4 inch lift and 33 inch tires. Leafs could be swapped out fairly easy. Truck runs, drives, shifts good with no major leaks or funny noises. Fuel tank has new sending unit and hoses. I have new OEM 4X4 Chrome center caps and grill "Bowtie" that is included. All in all a really cool truck that could use a 'lil' TLC as you drive it. Square body Chevys doing nothing but going up in value. Truck has great bones and can be driven as is.
