1972 Chevelle 4-door Hardtop

Vehicle Description
I'm selling my 1972 Chevelle Malibu sport sedan (4-door hardtop). This is a very rare and attractive body style which always attracts positive comments. Its colors of Mulsanne Blue with a painted roof in Antique White are striking and give it a very sporty appearance.According to the Protect-o-plate warranty booklet, it was ordered for use by the Wichita Zone Office of Chevrolet. It was then sold through Perl Chevrolet-Buick in Coffeyville, KS (a town of 10,000 located 100 miles east of Wichita) to a 74 year-old lady named Edna Kuntz (I believe her last name was pronounced "Koonce"). Edna took detailed notes in the back of the owner's manual about the car's maintenance history which was mostly done at Perl Chevy and Fuller Chevy in Beloit, KS. According to info I obtained during a visit to Coffeyville, she died in 1987 at the age of 89 and owned this car till the end of her life. It passed through 2 or 3 other owners before I bought it in 2021. These are some of its options: Malibu trim (1), Sport Sedan body (2), 350 2-barrel engine (3), TH-350 automatic trans (4), A/C (5), power steering (6), power brakes (7), tinted glass on all windows (8), tilt steering column (9), sport steering wheel (10), floor mats (11), AM-FM stereo with 4 speakers (12), painted roof (13), side impact strips (14), Rally wheels (15), white-wall tires (16), rear defog (17), trunk mat (18), trunk light (19), right side mirror (20), F41 sport suspension (21) Note: I have never seen another 4-door GM car with sport suspension...it rides beautifully and handles like a musclecar! This is what is referred to as a "hard-loaded" car and was probably used by the Wichita Zone Office manager to visit local dealerships (during cleaning of the car I discovered a pen from the St Louis Zone Office which will be included with the car's documentation). The car's original AM-FM stereo has been replaced by an AM radio that sits in the original radio's location. Below the dash I installed a Sony AM-FM-CD-USB stereo with 4 Pioneer Audio speakers...it sounds awesome! I would dearly love to keep this car, but my wife has stage 4 cancer and I'm selling several cars as a result. This is a beautiful driver that has many new parts: brakes, shocks, battery...it doesn't need anything other than paint and interior work. It draws favorable attention wherever it goes. I can be reached at 614 sevensix 958 sixtyeight. I expect a call within 24 hours of the end of the sale and a $500 down payment. Payment is by cash in person and you will receive a clear notorized Ohio title. Thanks and happy bidding.
I'm adding some info on the condition of the body. There is no rust on the frame or underbody. The ONLY rust is on the very bottom of the right fender which was caused by a clogged drain hole coming down from the windshield A-pillar post. There is also a dent on the left rear door that can be easily repaired by a body shop.
