1967 Chevrolet CAMARO pace car replica

Vehicle Description
This car is what I believe was a dealer replica. After the race in 1967 there was a demand for the cars. Chevrolet made, I believe, 84 "festival cars". When AJ Foyt turned down the pace car as "what am I going to do with a non-a/c car in Texas" Chevy made 100 more which most were shipped to Canada. All of the original festival cars are 2-speed power glide auto transmissions. This car is a 4-speed.Because the linkage was shot when I bought the car I had a new linkage installed, now you know for sure you are not in reverse when taking off from a stop sign.New interior, new full suspention front and rear, newer tires. When the dash was painted the windshield was removed and re-installed.Original drivetrain. Originally it was an air-conditioned car but none of the parts remain.I purchased the car in May 2018. I had it inspected, at that time, by Auto-Inspector, which I can forward the report. It's been a parade car ever since. Since I've owned the car it has only seen rain twice; both times during parades. It has headers which makes the vehicle rumble,Edelebrook intake and an Edelebrook 1406 ('70's) 4-barrell carberator.New Speedmaster electronic combo kit. The ignition fires hot when you turn the key.The Camaro maintains its original 350-300 hp engine. The drivetrain is all original. With the Edelbrock intake and carburetor modifications it runs strong. Please ask questions.
