Vehicle Description

Hi there, my name is Cathy and as many of you know, I 've been scouring the countryside for classic cars and then selling them for folks here on ebay for over 25 years. During this time, I've found new owners for everything from Darrin's to Duesenberg's. Maybe you'll be the new owner of my latest find! Here's an opportunity to own a Corvette resto-mod for a fraction of what they're selling for finished. The owner started with a complete 1-piece fiberglass body from "Custom Image Corvettes." (This cost him over $25,000 with tax and freight.)He then painstakingly modified the body to stretch it a bit in the front. He then went to work custom building the frame, rear-end, special front end, etc. (Hours, and hours of meticulous work.)He purchased a small block engine, and an automatic transmission, and had them professionally rebuilt. He then installed them. The brakes were upgraded, and then new wheels and tires were added. He installed the front windshield, front and rear lights, got it running and driving perfect, and then he became ill. This is where you can take over if you're up to it:There are no bumpers or chrome work included other than what's in the parts pictures. It will need the body prepped for painting. (The body is pretty rough in some places and the tilt front end will need bonnet locks installed. The "hard top" would have to be fashioned with clasps should you ever want to use it.)Then, there's the paint. If you're not a painter, depending on what part of the country you're in, set aside at least $10,000 for a nice paint job. (I've included a picture of what the owner had in mind, however, if you prep the body well enough, maybe you could have it wrapped.)You're going to be starting with a clean slate with respect to the interior. While the dash is there, along with some gauges, you'll need seats, carpeting, and door windows if you plan on having them. An advantage might be that you can mount your seats where you want them. (The owner was going to "shave" the area where the convertible top would normally go under since he's taller and needed a little more room.)While a lot of the hard work has been done, understand that it will take someone with special skills and a bunch more money to complete this car.If you have questions just call or message me and I'll try my best to get them answered for you!Cathy Hanson419-654-3323
