1971 Corvette LS-5 Convertible

Vehicle Description
1971 Corvette convertible originally LS-5 4-speed. Original motor and transmission long gone along with the original BB hood. The car has a GM LS-7 crate engine installed with unknown Muncie 4-speed with Hurst shifter. Engine suffix is XCH. I chemically stripped old lacquer paint job over 25 years ago and body displays original bonding seams and will need minimal body work and paint. Car has not ran since taken apart but recently plugs were pulled and it is not locked up. Car was bought originally in Houston Texas and always garaged. Originally Brands Hatch green with green vinyl interior which is still intact with original white soft top and also has the original hard top. Car shows to have less than 55K original miles. Frame and cage show no rust. Original body panels and original glass. I have all the original parts that were removed when stripped and some new replacement parts such as weatherstripping and emblems. Bumpers are good and shiny! As pictured, I have the original pro trek to plate and I am the third owner. I’ve gotten older and lost a place to work on it so my loss your gain. I’m sure there is more I could say and I welcome your questions. Shipping is the buyers expense. I can help getting it on a transport if need be but bear in mind there are several tubs and loose parts. Car is located near Falcon Colorado. I am currently relocating back to the Houston area and could possibly trailer it back at some point. $500 non refundable deposit is expected within 48 hours of auction ending.
