1948 Chevy Thriftmaster panel van in excellent solid rust free condition. I purchased this Panel van from the grandson of the original owner. It has been in dry storage since the early 1980s.Original factory interior and flooring. Cab is 100 percent solid no holes or patches. This is extremely rare.Body and running boards are also extremely solid and no rust holes. There is minimal surface rust here and there to be expected for a vehicle this age.The only body damage is rear left fender which was damaged by the previous owner while at home. I do have a Chevy factory rear fender replacement that I'm including in the sale.The body has only one paint job from new. The original owner had logos painted on the sides for his business. That's right an original logoed panel van from the late 1940's !!!Original factory front Interior it's all 100 percent intact. As the story goes from the grandson of the original owner his grandfather loved camping. So he installed a small wood stove in the back and two fold down bunk beds. Easly removable if not to your liking. There is also a small shelving unit installed behind the drivers seat for additional storage.The motor is 100 percent complete and also original inline 235 stovebolt.In unknown condition and does turn freely by hand. I unfortunately do not have an account of the actual miles. Transmission is a 4 speed stick which is free and goes into every gear smoothly.I'm also including the original factor split rims which are shown in the pictures. The set of rear clam doors shown in the pictures are not included in the sale of the vehicle.Unfortunately I have to many projects and I'm downsizing my laundry list. So I decided to pass this treasure to someone who will put it back where it belongs the road not my garage.
