Vehicle Description

Vehicle Original VIN : 20867S1033170Here's what I know about your new/old Corvette- I purchased the car in 2018 in Pittsburgh from a dealer who had it on consignment from an elderly gentleman who had the car in his garage since 1977 (PA registration from them still affixed to car).I had all of the rubber replaced| transmission rebuilt| rear differential replaced to what would have come on the car when purchased| radiator replaced| hardened engine seals (to accomodate unleaded gasoline)| new carburetor| air filter| disc brakes in the front and much more work.We believe the car was used as a race-car in the late 60's or early 70's. When you step on the gas the engine pressure maxes out....we believe the engine was bored out then to make it quicker. When they did this they also shaved the VIN off the engine block| however there is a stamp on the rear of the engine that shows it was built right before the car was assembled. The 327 in the car is likely the engine that came with the car or at least a period correct engine.I have entered the car in many car shows. In 2021 it won Best in Show at the Manhattan Beach Car show and in 2023 we won an award at the Peterson Auto Museum 's a great car that someone will love....
