Rare 1948 ½ Chevy Canopy Express Rat Rod

Panel/Pickup/Suburban

Original Patina, 235, S-10 5 Speed, Camaro 10 bolt, Straight Axle, Disk Brakes, All new steering components, only 843 made in 1948. Same family owned until I purchased 3 years ago. Have original paperwork.

New parts within last 3 years: Radiator, Daytona Carburetor, Exhaust, HEI, Water Pump, Clutch, Heater, Electric Wipers, Glass, Weather stripping, Ron Francis Wiring…….

Rust in usual places. Too Bad to Restore, Too good to let Die.

Was originally used to sell vegetables. Original owner’s son, now 90 years old, had a mechanics garage. Lettering from the business is still visible on doors.
