1979 Chevorlet Chevette

Vehicle Description

This '79 Chevy chevette is in good condition for it's age with mostly original parts. It has approximately 88000 miles on it. The four speed manual transmission has had the clutch replaced in the last year. It is a two door hatchback with a fold down rear seat. The interior needs to be completely replaced except for the seats and dash which are in good condition. The original AM radio still works. A few minor dents all that could easily be fixed. It has a little bit of surface rust on the body; the undercarriageis rust free. It may have an issue with the sincro though it shifts great most of the time. The carburetorheater was replaced within the last two years. The heater has been modified with a valve cutting off coolant to the heatercore to preventhot air from coming out the vents in the summer. This modification could easily be returned to the original set up if desired. The windshieldwasher is hooked to a button on the dash, it could also be reconnected to the wires under the dash to be operatedas it was originally intended by the turn signal arm.
