Vehicle Description

My War Bonnet Yellow Vette is a spectacular driver. I bought the car from the owner of Harbor Corvette restoration in Erie, PA. He did a fantastic job of repainting the car its original unique color. The finish is really beautiful with only one door ding since I have owned it. When I bought the car three years ago, I knew the engine was the original with matching numbers but I did not understand that Harbor had changed the intake manifold and carburetor. I found their modification to make the car run too rich and because they also give the original intake, I had the engine put back to 100% original -- points and all. I have all the receipts for everything I have done since I have owned it. The car runs beautifully and I drive it almost every day in the summer - of course it is properly stored in the winter. My family and I are moving to NYC and I would like to see someone else enjoy the car instead of leaving it in storage. I have double the starting asking price in the car (over $30k between what i purchased it for and putting original engine back to original.). I am trying to given you as much information as possible about the car so you can buy it with confidence.

The Pros:

  • · Great repaint of a beautiful striking color
  • · New leather interior and carpet
  • · No cracks in dash
  • · Great suspension, brakes and new tires
  • · Perfect running and reliable
  • · Power windows work very well
  • · Headlamps work well
  • · No fluid leaks of any kind
  • · All gauges including clock work

The Cons:

  • · The AC needs work - compressor is there but the belt is not connected. The compressor makes a lot of barring noise
  • · The windshield wipers work on one speed only, but not the washers
  • · The radio is a new original rebuild but still does not get many stations
  • · I have never had the door keys

Please let me know any questions you have. Thank you! Rob
