Vehicle Description

1993 Cadillac Allante Vin# 1G6VS339XPU126156, Northstar engine 4.6L V8, 300HP

The Cadillac Allante was the result of a collaborative effort between General Motors and Pininfarina. The partially assembled cars were shipped to Italy on Boeing 747s, 56 at a time. In Italy, the bodies were constructed, fitted, and painted by Pininfarina—the same company known for designing Ferraris. The completed bodies were then shipped back to GM in the U.S. for final assembly.

1993 was the last year of production and featured the desirable Northstar engine. The paint remains bright and shiny, although there are a few sun spots on the trunk. The passenger seat and carpets are in excellent condition, while the driver’s seat could use some attention. All power functions work on both seats.

The convertible top is in good condition with no tears or leaks. I belong to three Allante clubs, and all parts are still readily available. The car includes power door locks, power windows, and a power telescoping antenna. When new, this car sold for over $80,000. Many repairs and maintenance records are documented in the paperwork.
