1969 Cadillac Eldorado T-top

had to relist due to non-paying bidder but once again i'm selling my eldo. just getting too old to do it justice. i only drive it about once a month now and sometimes not that often. all my life i've been the typical average person that goes somewhere and no one ever says anything to. i get in this car - and i'm everyone's friend. folks waving. rolling down their windows to talk to me - while driving. people follow me home to discuss the car. i had the garage door open one day and the fedex guy came to my front door, not to deliver a package, but to ask if he could go look at the car.
it's not restored. it isn't gonna win a concourse. it's got some niggly issues - tires are 10 yrs old, needs tune-up and maintenance, i think it has an exhaust leak at the manifold (but i'm not a car guy), probably could use a new battery - the one in it is 7 yrs old.
i'm guessing i am the third owner. it was in portland oregon with the original buyer from 1969 to 2007(and no rust). then, sold to a person in lebanon, tn. i bought it in jan, 2008.

THE PAINT IS VERY GOOD OVERALL WITH ONLY THE PASSENGERS QUARTER PANEL SHOWING SOME AGE.(LAQUER CRACKING) THE CHROME AND BRITEWORK ARE ORIGINAL AND ARE IN GOOD SHAPE BUT NEARLY 40 YEARS OLD. THE ORIGINAL WHITE LEATHER INTERIOR IS VERY GOOD. THE SEATS SHOW MINOR WEAR BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS A-1 AND ORIGINAL. THE DEALER INSTALLED T-TOPS FIT AND LATCH VERY TIGHT AND ARE NOT LEAKY!
THE CAR IS SUPPOSED TO BE 1 OF 15 CARS THAT WERE OPTIONED WITH THIS CONVERSION PER THE PREVIOUS OWNER. THE CAR HAS THE ORIGINAL 472 V8 BACKED BY A 400 TURBO TRANSMISSION.
THE CAR IS FURTHER OPTIONED AS FOLLOWS... POWER STEERING,POWER DISC BRAKES, CRUISE CONTROL, TILT WHEEL, POWER WINDOWS, DOOR LOCK, AM/FM STEREO, REAR DEFROST,CLIMATE CONTROL WITH A/C, AUTO DIMMING LIGHTING ELECTRIC TRUNK LATCH AND AN AFTERMARKET 10 DISC CHANGER. EVERYTHING IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION ON THE CAR AND EVEN HAS ALL FOUR OF ITS ORIGINAL T-3 HEADLAMPS. THE CAR IS VERY SOLID NO RUST TOP OR BOTTOM EXCEPT AS NOTED IN PICTURE.
