1990 Cadillac Allante Removable Hardtop

Vehicle Description
Black with red trim and beige leather interior. Very rare color combination and arguably the best color combination. Just over 68K miles. Runs and drives very well. Removable hard top which I have cranked down so tight that there is no movement and rattle over bumps. There is very little wind noise until above about 70 MPH. Goes down the road very well, suspension is smooth with no rattles or other issues. Brand new tires and battery. 2k miles on new brake system, done by the previous owner and don’t know what exactly he did but the brakes work very well. Also comes with the Gold Keys, which is very rare. Has the original owner’s manual and a very nice car cover.
The fuel gauge does not work. I set the trip counter and refuel at about 200 miles. The passenger side window goes down about 1/3 and slowly stops. Probably the motor which is about $80 through Allante Source in Maimi. Dick Hussey will have anything and everything you need for Allante’s and is a great source of knowledge and expertise. Must exercise the door look several times to lock and unlock the passenger door from the driver’s side. Also not a big deal.
The dashboard below the windshield was in bad shape when I got it. I have done my best to restore it but it is not perfect. It was warped and the vent was broken. I substantially straightened it out and the vent is glued in place, and I color restored it. You can see in the picture. Not something that glares out at you but you can see it if you look. It is what it is.
It is a very presentable car, and I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. I have not had to do any mechanical work at all. It was that way when I bought it and still is.
Really nothing else to say. Pictures tell the rest Thank you for looking and considering.
