I HAVE BEEN AN EBAY MEMBER SINCE 2000, THAT IS 25 YEARS!WITH 100% FEEDBACK, BUT AS I HAVE NOT SOLD ANYTHING ON EBAY IN A LONG TIME, IT JUST SHOWS 46?FOR SALE IS A 1976 CADILLAC ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE.THE CADILLAC ELDORADO WAS ADVERTISED IN 1976 AS THE LAST GREAT AMERICAN CONVERTIBLE!JUST PRESS ON THE BLUE VIDEO LINK TO WATCH THE VIDEOS.YOU CAN ALSO COPY AND PASTE THESE VIDEOS OF THE CAR DRIVING AT THE STORAGE YARD AND WATCH THEM ON YOUTUBE:https://youtu.be/WSSdHXcx8fAhttps://youtu.be/lei7VgZbgLIhttps://youtu.be/cZlpfnqFqXkA BLUE-PLATED CALIFORNIA CAR FROM VENICE BEACH, CALIFORNIA.THIS CAR WAS REALLY A BARN FIND, IN A BARN, SEE PHOTOS.THE OWNER PASSED AWAY LAST YEAR, AND I BOUGHT THE CAR.THE SON OF THE PREVIOUS OWNER CONTACTED ME BECAUSE I ALREADY OWN A 1975 ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE.THE CAR HAD BEEN SITTING FOR A FEW YEARS, BUT WE ADDED A BATTERY AND THE CAR STARTED RIGHT UP!THE CADILLAC HAS ONLY 58,109 ORIGINAL MILES.I ALREADY HAVE A 75 ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE SO I AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH THESE CARS.I DECIDED TO BEGIN TO RESTORE IT AND START WORK AT THE REAR OF THE CAR, SO WE TOOK OUT THE FUEL TANK.I HAD THE TANK CLEANED AND PAINTED.THEN I ADDED A NEW ELECTRONIC FUEL PUMP AND HOSES.I HAD THE CARBURETOR REBUILT AND ADDED A FUEL REGULATOR FOR BETTER FUEL FLOW TO THE CARBURETOR.WE CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS AND CHANGED THE OIL AND OIL FILTER, AND ADDED A NEW STARTER MOTOR.WE REMOVED THE VALVE COVERS, CLEANED AND REPAINTED THEM, AND ADDED NEW VALVE COVER GASKETS.THE NEXT STEP WAS TO ADD ALL NEW BRAKES, BUT SADLY, TIME HAS RUN OUT ON THIS RESTORATION.THE STORAGE HAS BECOME TOO EXPENSIVE IN LOS ANGELES!ALL THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR LIGHTS WORK, EVEN THE POWER ANTENNA AND RADIO WORK.THE INTERIOR IS ALL COMPLETE, AND THE FRONT POWER SEATS WORK.THE CONVERTIBLE TOP LOOKS LIKE NEW AND THERE IS A PLASTIC REAR WINDOW IN THE TRUNKTO BE INSTALLED, BUT IT REALLY NEEDS A GLASS BACK WINDOW.THE CONVERTIBLE TOP MOTOR MOVED SLIGHTLY BUT THE MOTOR WAS OLD, SO I BOUGHT A NEW $300 MOTOR AND A $160 REGULATOR.NEXT, THE ACTUATORS NEED TO BE CLEANED AS THIS IS THE LAST PART OF GETTING THE TOP WORKING LIKE NEW AGAIN.I FOUND THE FOUR FENDER EXTENSIONS IN THE TRUNK AND PUT THEM ON THE CAR.THE PASTIC EXTENSION SURROUNDS FOR THE REAR LIGHTS WERE BROKEN, BUT YOU CAN BUY THEM ON EBAY.THE OWNER PAINTED THE CAR WHITE, BUT WHEN WE REMOVED THE CARPET IN THE TRUNK, I BELIEVE THE CAR MAY HAVE BEEN A BEAUTIFUL RED COLOR BEFORE?THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT WITH DINGS AND SCRATCHES. BUT IF IT WAS ME AND THE CAR WAS ORIGINALLY A BEAUTIFUL RED-ON-RED CAR, THEN I WOULD REPAINT IT THE ORIGINAL COLOR.THE CAR IS ON A NON-OP, SO THERE ARE ONLY THE FEES FOR THE TRANSFER.THE CAR NEEDS SOME TENDER LOVING CARE, BUT IF YOU WANT A RUNNING-DRIVING 76 CONVERTIBLE WITHOUT SPENDING $30,000 ON A SHOWROOM CAR, THEN THIS MAY BE THE CAR FOR YOU.THE CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY OFFERED OR SUPPLIED.THERE IS NO CALIFORNIA SMOG CERTIFICATE ISSUED WITH THE CAR, BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN ON A NON-OPERATION PERMIT FOR MANY YEARS, PERFECT FOR AN OUT OF CA STATE BUYER.PLEASE MESSAGE ME WITH ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS.NO 0 BUYERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND ANY 0 BUYER OFFERS WILL BE DELETED.THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT MY ADD!
