Vehicle Description

The 1978 Cadillac Seville Elegante is a four-door sedan that was the most expensive non-limo Cadillac available new that year. It has a number of features, including:

Engine

A 350 cubic inch (ci) gasoline engine from GM's Oldsmobile Division with Bendix/Bosch electronic fuel injection. It has a cast iron block and heads, and produces 270 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a three-speed automatic gearbox.

Chassis

Power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes.

Convenience features

Power seats, power tinted windows and locks, tilt/telescopic wheel, cruise control.

Stereo

An AM/FM/8-track stereo, which was a rare factory option for Cadillac at the time.
