1987 Buick Century Custom Sedan with Ice Cold A/C, Really Clean, and the 2.5L!

Vehicle Description

Up for bid with NO RESERVE is my 1987 Buick Century Custom Sedan! It features the 2.5L IRON DUKE (Tech 4) 4 cylinder engine and a 3 speed automatic transmission. You know this engine, it has brought you your mail for YEARS! The vehicle is from down south... originally sold by New Orleans and most recently lived in Florida. The previous owner recently moved up to Wisconsin, towing the Buick with them, so I ended up picking up the car up this way. It has a recent radiator, heater core, a/c service, newer tires (they're on Chrysler LeBaron wheels... original wheel covers in trunk but the steel wheels aren't available), recent fluid changes for coolant, engine, and transmission, and the radio was serviced by a friend of mine who knows these old GM radios inside and out. The mileage is really low for it's age... only 69,186 miles! It drives like a lower mileage car, too. Super smooth and comfortable. Two rows of velour bench seats means seating for SIX people! The air conditioning is super cold and keeps you comfortable even on the hottest of summer days. Heat works excellent as well. It's also pretty darn clean... I haven't seen like any visible rust on the car and underneath it's super duper clean. Definitely not like the other ones you find here in the midwest for sure!
It's a pretty basic Buick with crank up windows but it has semi functioning power door locks... the two front door motors are tired and don't always work. Aftermarket cruise control was installed at some point in the car's past but it doesn't work anymore, either. Also, it is 38 year old basic transportation so it has your typical dings, scuffs, nicks, dents, etc that an old car would have. GM paint of that era was not very good so it's had a repaint or two in it's past... I like to describe it at this point as a good 20 footer... it looks good from 20 feet away. Any closer and you can see the flaws in the paintwork.

The car's warranty expired in 1990 so be aware this is sold AS-IS with no warranty or guarantee. It's a vintage used car! Clean Illinois title in my name. Being sold with no reserve so bid it to win it! I can pick you up from the Rockford Greyhound or Van Galder if you want to bus in and drive it home. No personal checks, cash only with a $500 deposit due within 24 hours of winning. Full payment due within 7 days and vehicle must be picked up within 7 days unless we come to an agreement beforehand. Cashier's Check or Money Order okay but I will hold the car and title for 14 days until it clears. Comes with one set of keys.
