Vehicle Description

Sorry I had to end the previous Auction as I'm traveling across country, & broke down and couldn't be home at Auction End Day.

Selling as I simply can't get the time to get back to this one, and I have a restoration ahead of it.

I bought this 71' Buick GS350 in Oregon in 2000 and drove it to Arizona. VIN#434371Z115382

What's Been Done in my Ownership:

Engine: Since Original Engine Needed Lead Additive, in 2017 I had the heads rebuilt with a Multi-Angle Valve Job so it can now run Unleaded and I painted it back to Red, I did Orange first but Buicks are Red. I also installed Adjustable Pushrods from Jegs and miked them to original length, reason is (Buicks can't adjust valve lash by a nut on top of a rocker like a Chevy Engine.) Also while in AZ I had Buick Specialists T/A Performance in Scottsdale install new Cam Bearings and Install their T/A212 Cam which is a couple Performance notches above Stock for a bit more power and better sound. Engine is back together with Trans sitting on a Dolly and needs re-install, so the Engine and Tranny are Out of the Car. I also put on T/A Performances Stage 1 Dual Plane Intake Manifold. I had a BBC 468 in it for a bit you can see in some pictures but that and the 3" Exhaust does NOT come with the Car, or the Centerline Wheels in those pictures, it will go with the Original Buick Rally's.

Trans: In 2000 getting home with it the trans was slipping, so I put a new Turbo 350 in from Cottman Transmission in Arizona. Has only gone 9k since 2000. The Strong Shift Kit made it Chirp the Tires when shifting even with the stock 350 that was fun.

Interior: Is perfect, Dark Green with Black Carpet. I added 2 Auto Meter Gauges under dash, Oil and Temp. I started Installing a Vintage Air, Climate Control System which was like $1300. back 20 years ago, and found a GreenOriginal Dash Pad off Ebaywith the Center A/C Vent as the original Pad doesn't have a Center Vent as the Car wasn't an A/C Car Originally. Only Heater Portion is connected, The remaining Vintage Air Kit will go with the car is in the trunk. I also installed some very nice 6x9 speakers on the rear deck.

Underneath: I rebuilt the Rear End and installed a Detroit True Trac all "Geared" Limited Slip (The Best One Made), painted up, Kept the 3.08 gears, and Added T/A Performances Aluminum Diff Cover with Cooling Fins. I also dropped the tank to clean & Paint Black and Painted the Tank Straps Silver. I also installed a brand new Steering Gearbox, plus there's new Anti-Sway Bar Links in Trunk.

Body: Is very straight, the Car Has Never Been Wrecked or has any Bondo, the previous Owner did Have it Painted, but even tho it takes great pictures, I call it a 15-20 footer, it's not a super high end paint job, and the body didn't get stripped to remove some moisture bubbles from living in wet Oregon), but they'll sand out, the body has ZERO Cancer Thru Rust damage like holes. The Trunk is beautiful, The Vinyl Top is Perfect, but to be perfect the car needs fully stripped to re-paint. That as well to put engine back in is why I'm not asking 40k or more for this wonderful Original Muscle Car. Oh and I had all the Windows Tinted...

Bumpers: Front is Perfect but still Un-restored, so up close you can see hairline cracks in the Original Chrome, it looks great but not showy, to be perfect it needs to be restored, stripped and re-chromed.

Rear Bumper: Has 1 little ding from something right below left tail light so that needs worked out from a bumper restorer, otherwise is nice, but not perfect. The previous owner had Tack Tape Strips up bumper and removing showed some stripped Chrome Spots on the left side shown in pictures as well behind the flip down license plate there are peeled Chrome areas. The Right Side of bumper is very nice. Also I cleaned tail light buckets and lenses, lined over the faded silver in buckets inside with shiny Aluminum Foil to make the tail lights very nicely bright like new (They look Great and very bright Lit Up Now).

Under Hood: More detailing could use to be done and sand blast it to repaint, these cars were known to corrode a bit around the Battery Tray and this one has that as well, but some repair work has been done by prior owner. I think the inner fender wells are now available from Classic Industries and I was just going to replace the inner fenders and put a new battery tray in it, or re-locate the Battery to the Trunk which I was going to do, so there's a remote Battery Install Box kit inside with cables that'll go with it.

Else about the Car, I decided to put it back to stock and removed my BBC saving it for my 66', so the original frame pads for the 350 need to be re-bolted in before you put the Original 350 Engine/Trans back in, (all go with it).. Also, I had 2 Drive Shafts made up for this Car, 1 with a large slip yoke for a Turbo 400, 1 shorter to run behind a 700-R4, so I had the original T350's shaft cut shorter, you'd have to have it lengthened again to Turbo 350 length. Car has always been Garaged and thick Comforter Blankets over it, Currently the grill is removed as Leaning over the Engine Bay on this car is leaning on the plastic Grill and when I got it many holding stand offs were broke so I did repair (JB Weld) all cracking on the Original GS Grill for those Mounts and it's on the front seat.

You don't find Un-Restored Original Buick GS's with only 86k miles very often anymore, it's worth a lot especially fully showroom restored as I know what these Cars are worth and they're only going up in Value. Thanks for Looking and I do have a clean/clear Arizona Title for it. The pictures in an Emptying Shop I just moved out of and on Trailer are most recent in taking it to a storage in 2025.

Buyer Responsible for Shipping or picking up everything I have to go with this Car.

No Funky Purchase Methods or Minimal Deposits to test or anything, My Wife Works in Bank Fraud so I will only take a Creditable Bank Cashiers Check. You will need a Trailer for the Car and Open Pickup Bed for the Engine/Trans and the extras like stock 2.25" Exhaust peaces I have, Thanks for Looking..
