Vehicle Description

Estate car that was one man's dream car can now be yours. 1972 Buick GS Skylark Convertible. Restored some time ago and the owner wanted something different.....and different it is. Power now comes from a Corvette LS1 V8 transplant! He incorporated the GS LSX dual snorkel air filter and at first glance it looks pretty much stock. But it is not. The dual snorkel filter still uses the hood openings to feed the LS1. Very cool hood mounted Tachometer as well. New dual exhaust system. MSD ignition. GS rear spoiler.

And the creature comforts still abound....Air conditioning, power steering, cruise control. Remote side mirror. Power top. (Top moves a little slowly and needs help to go up and down.) Automatic transmission is still shifted on the column. 4 wheel power disc brakes. Dakota Digital instruments are set into the stock dash. Kenwood sound system lets you sing along like you're in the shower. Full compliment of seat belts front and rear for safety. Manual controlled front seat.

The Convertible rides on B.F. Goodrich 245/60R15 radials mounted on chrome American Racing wheels in front, 275/60R15 radials also on American Racing spoked wheels. (The tires are older and should probably be replaced.) It is a very nice driver quality car, not a 100 point vehicle but it is very presentable. And you would probably have the only LS1 powered Skylark convertible on your block.......
