Up for auction is this wonderful time capsule & survivor. 1941 Buick Super *. It has the original straight eight engine and 3 on the tree transmission with very low miles.(51,000). It starts easily every time with no smoking at any time. It idles nice and smooth & runs cool. It is very responsive and powerful. It drives 55-60 mph and keeps up with traffic nicely. The 3 on the tree shifts nice & smooth. This car runs and drives like new. It handles great. It is a real joy to drive! The body and under carriage are rust free with no rust though anywhere. The floor pans, rockers and trunk pans along with body perches are all 100% solid. Just amazing condition.! The car was re-painted many years ago(approx. 30 yrs) in original color. The lacquer paint has some crackling, however, lends to nice patina. All the glass is good with no cracks or chips. The windows roll up & down nicely. The doors fit up nice with no sagging. The interior is not perfect, however, still in very nice shape. The door panels are excellent. The seats have no rips, tears or worn spots. The headliner is nice with 3-4 small holes that have been patched over. The brakes work good with new shoes front and back. The car sports 4 brand new radial tires with around 100 miles on them. All gauges work including temp, amps, gas & speedo. The gauges faces look like new!.Engine carrries 40lb. oil pressure at engine operating temp! Car has a very pretty dash with fish scale design, nice chrome and nice wood grain. The dash gauges all light up. The wipers work good. The brakes lights work along with head lights on high and low. Only item not working is the dash clock that does light up when dash lights are on. The blinkers work. This was a 'fancy' car in its day with some cool options and remains a classy car. There are courtesy lights built into the seat corners that still work when you open the doors. There is a cigarette lighter in the front and back seat that still work. This car can sit for 2 wks and start right up. Lately, I've driven it daily and it has no issues. The exhaust is good & runs quietly. It is a real joy to drive & gets smiles and thumbs up when out cruising. This car has a real nice chrome grill & bumpers. This fancy car, in its day was heavy laden with chrome and stainless. (see pics) This car really needs nothing....get in and drive & cruise with confidence. The horn blows nice and loud too. The VIN on firewall matches the title.

The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for transportation of this vehicle. A $500 non-refundable down payment is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction through Ebay. The balance in full is due within 7 days of the end of the auction either as cash in person or wired to our bank acct. This car is for sale by a WI dealer, therefore, a purchase agreement will need to be signed along with a WI (ONLY) county, state taxes & fees added to the final bid price. This vehicle is currently stored inside and can remain there for up to 30 days.
