1971 BMW 3.0 CSi in Nachtblau (Night Blue) needing total restoration. Rare car with only 1,061 CSi examples built in 1971. Iconic body style in a scarce color.

Sat since 1992 as found. Mechanical fuel injected model. Original paint. Appears mostly complete. Missing hubcaps. Engine, manual transmission, drivetrain complete. We have not attempted to start it, as not to damage any of the components.

Extensive rust just waiting for the right guy to cut/ weld this car back to its former glory. This is a project for a master welder who is willing to put in the sweat equity. Worthwhile project due to scarcity, beauty, & finished values. Part values alone far exceed the starting bid price. I could easily part this vehicle out for the highest return, but I would like to see the car get saved & back on the road. To me, it’s too rare to part. Warrior welder: Step up to the plate.
