Vehicle Description

Pleased to offer this 1989 BMW 325i Coupe that has been built into a fun offroad/rally car! Clean title in hand.

I have owned the car since 2018, and in 2020 performed an extensive amount of work to turn the car into what it presents as today. It is a surprisingly capable offroader that I have enjoyed taking on trails in the desert on a handful of occasions since I finished building it.

This build was a passion project for me as I always wanted to build a euro offroad/rally style car. Since the car's completion it has seen 5 trips to the desert and about 11 hours of total offroad time since completion. I have kept a logbook for the car documenting the build, time driven and all service that has been carried out over the past 4 years since it was finished.

Most recently the car received fresh fluids and has only been driven a handful of street miles since.

Cosmetically the car is far from a trailer queen. It has plenty of blemishes and older paint that have accumulated long before it became an offroad car. The sole intention of the car is to be a really fun and unique car to get into, and it always draws a lot of attention both on the street and in the desert.

Everything electrical aside from the radio on the car works including windows, lights, blower motor etc.

The car has a few minor needs that I never got around to doing before deciding to let it go:

-The glovebox latch has been missing since i bought the car, it could use one

-The shifter has quite a bit of play, it engages in all 5 gears and reverse completely fine but could use a rebuild or a swap to a solid mount setup.

-The tachometer in the car has never worked since I bought it

-The odometer (like most e30s) is broken

The car's original mileage is unknown, but I would estimate it around 170,000. When I bought the car it came with two gauge clusters, the original was in the trunk and completely inop but indicated around 160,000 miles.

Any questions please feel free to ask!
