1992 BMW 525i [5-speed manual]

Vehicle Description

Selling a very nice example e34 / 1992 BMW 525i 5 speed manual in Alpine White I’ve owned and enjoyed this car for approximately 5 years and have put a substantial amount of work into it over this time period. Car originated in Napa Valley, CA. Starts, runs drives and idles very well
No major oil leaks
Heat works
Car has always been garage kept and never driven during the winter
No major rust issues
Major backlog of servicing done to this vehicle including everything I've done as well as previous owner dating back to the 90's
Rear strut bushings recently replaced
Sunroof works. Opens and closes as it should
All internal and external lighting is functional except the small map lights by rearview mirror
Oil changed frequently - either every 3K miles or yearly if not driven 3K miles
Clean PA title is in hand

The bad:

AC does not work. Attempted to recharge but the core likely needs to be replaced
Small scuffs and dings in the paint (see photos)
Trunk closes fine but is not perfectly aligned with body (see photos)
Turn signal indicators on instrument cluster do not work
The seats (especially the front seats) are a little worse for wear. They are still comfortable but are in poor condition (see photos) Heated seat option on front seats do not work (both seats function properly otherwise)
Some of the external rubber, including the door handles and front window frame are in poor shape. They do not leak but aren't aesthetically perfect.
Vehicle carpet I would rate in fair condition overall
Rear passenger window has fallen out of track (motor works and it closes completely but isn't properly functional)
Window washers do not work properly
Glove box handle is broken. It closes fine but the handle broke off
Starter works fine but whines on startup
Does not smoke but does burn a little oil over time, as it is an older vehicle
Steering wheel leather is damaged (see photos)
Some other odds and ends I may be forgetting but nothing major

Upgrades:

Upgraded aftermarket alpine head unit with JL audio power amp, 6 speaker system and sub ($3000 + upgrade w/ receipts)
Lowering springs on rear suspension only plus wheel spacers on rear only (gives the car a very nice stance)
Professional window tinting
Front stabalizer bar
Replaced front fog lights
M parallel wheels. Tires are good with at least 50% life left

I've been an ebay seller for over 10 years with positive feedback and this is my honest assesment of this vehicle. I feel that it's a great car and have enjoyed it for a number of years.
