                Vehicle Description
Car Frame:
- Has been media blasted and is ready for painting.
 - There is no rust anywhere on the frame.
 - Includes car seats, dashboard, door panels, etc. S14/M3
 
1988 S14/M3 Engine:
- Bore Size: 93.40 (original size), cylinder walls are pitted. Recommend bore & hone to 93.60mm
 - Will need new pistons and rings to fit new bore size.
 - Crankshaft journals: standard size, good condition. Recommend micro polishing
 - Main and rod bearings: normal wear, to be replaced
 - Con Rods: good condition, recommend re-bush small end
 - Cylinder head: good condition but warped .007". To be resurfaced
 - Flywheel and ring gear: Good Condition
 - Crank gear worn, to replace
 - Cam gear worn, to replace
 - Valves: normal light wear, reusable
 - Valve guides: reusable, within BMW wear specs
 - Valve Springs: OK, within BMW specs
 - Fuel Injectors: One set in box marked "needing rebuild". Second set, condition unknown
 - Front Timing Cover (broken)
 - Block coolant drain plug missing
 - Special Studs for timing chain guide missing (2), Clips for studs missing (3)
 - Oil pump pipe missing, no oil pup shims.
 - Block to Cyl Hd dowels missing (2)
 - Timing chain tensioner assembly missing
 - Crank pulley damaged, to replace
 - Water outlet, rear of Cyl Hd missing
 - Three hoses for oil separator/breather assy missing
 - No coolant hoses
 - Idle Control/ Oil separator/rubber mounts missing
 - Valve Cover Acorn Nuts (20) discolored, recommend replacement
 
New Parts provided by owner:
- Oil Pump
 - Lower Engine Gasket Set
 - Upper Engine Gasket Set
 - Coolant Temp Sensor (part number is for a BMW 2002, not for M3)
 
No Transmission!
