History This is a very early edition 1990 850i, JSPEC, built in September 1990. It was imported from Japan to Canada in 2006. Since that time, nearly $65,000 in repairs and maintenance has been invested, including an engine rebuild.Currently has 162,600 KM (100,000 miles). Priced at $25,000 USD (approximately $34,000 CDN) In 2014, the current owner purchased this beautiful 850i with 93,333 km. In the 9 years since, a further 67,000 km have been added. Scott D’Vleksis was recommended via members of Facebook Forum. He replaced all capacitors, and the car has never been better. There have been no electrical issues since this work was done. The car also received new tires. New Bosch starter General Module - refurbished by Scott D'Vleksis BF Goodrich G Force Sport Comp tires (W245/45R17) 2020: AC Compressor quit working properly and was replaced with a new OEM Compressor. Also replaced upper front strut mounts, fuel pump relays, and new OEM Centre console to replace the original. At 112,110 km current owner experienced a blown head gasket. Over the course of the winter, Bird Automotive of Edmonton undertook repairs that included a full rebuild of the upper portion of the engine, replacing all parts that showed any wear. As well, the Glove Box Locking System is connected to the trunk and other locks on the car. It became faulty and had to be replaced.
