She was sold in New Zealand. Most everything has been gone through. Numerous new parts. I daily drive it around my area. At times, it smokes at a long idle, stop lights etc. Runs very well though. Please see description.

Your looking at a 1947 Austin 10. It may very well be the only one on the road driving in North America. Has a clear Title, and current VA inspection.

Originally sold new in New Zealand. It's right hand drive, 4cly, 4spd -around 30 hp flathead engine. Mechanical brakes... Thermo siphon cooling, no water pump. Even has brass lug nuts.

I "refreshed" the engine( new pistons, rings, timing chain,seals,freeze plugs, gaskets,cotter pins etc).

Also new, repaired, or rebuilt [battery, Gaz truck battery disconnect switch] Tires, michelin tubes, brake linings, wheel bearings re packed and sealed, radiator flushed-soldered, hoses, carb rebuilt, fuel tank cleaned and lined, facet electric fuel pump. All mounts, rebuilt all shock boxes. Converted to alternator. Rebuilt starter.Plugs, wires,coil,condensor. Wiring..

It runs quite well. I've been using it to run errands, go shopping etc.

It runs, rides, starts, stops, drives all just fine.

At periods of a long idle, stop lights etc. She will puff some blue smoke till it gets going. Never kept me from driving it.

Also at times it will pop out of first gear. I just hold it.. Only gauge working is for oil pressure. The others do light up though. Speedometer kinda worked, for a while.

The main rust is on the outside corners of the doors, and bottom end of trunk pan.

Everywhere else is quite decent. Went up on a car lift just fine. The rear seat is very usable. The fronts are crunchy. I just use a pillow.
