For your considerations, here we offer the 1971 Austin Mini COUNTRYMAN A left-hand drive example that has been upgraded and/or modified with a 1.6-liter Honda D16Z6 inline-four equipped with individual throttle bodies and was installed during the build. The engine block was refurbished by Golden Eagle Manufacturing of San Dimas in California, and is said to include a ported and polished cylinder head, an aluminum radiator, a rear-mounted fuel cell, upgraded camshaft, forged pistons, and a MAGNAFLOW exhaust system, making this MINI one of the kind and superfast ! !

The body was repainted blue with matching fender flares and a white roof under prior ownership, and the interior has been overhauled with black vinyl and blue fabric upholstery, folding rear seat as well as the body-color roll bar.
Additional modifications include a five-speed manual transaxle, limited-slip differential, MAGNAFLOW exhaust, HONDATA engine management, adjustable coil-overs, a fuel cell
front disc brakes, and 13” wheels.
The Mini is being offered with a clean California title and registration in the seller’s name.
The Mini COUNTRYMAN has been fitted with fender flares, replacement glass, as well as Australian-spec doors with roll-up windows before it was repainted its current shade of blue
with a white roof during the build. Additional equipment includes the MK_II-style grille, hood pins, aftermarket side mirrors, chrome bumpers, ambulance-style rear doors, and a locking
fuel filler cap.
Revolution-style 13 INCH wheels with black-finished centers and polished lips are wrapped with 175/50 Sumitomo HTR 200 tires. The vehicle rides on independent front and rear suspension with adjustable coil-overs all around while braking is handled via front discs with finned drums out back.

The cabin is coated with a bed liner material and fitted with seats trimmed in black vinyl with blue fabric inserts along with matching door panels. Black carpets line the floors, and a replacement headliner was installed under previous ownership. Appointments include a body-color roll bar, a Wil-Wood pedal box, front shoulder belts, and an auxiliary cable wired to speakers housed in the dash. An additional outlet in the dash allows input to the HONDATA engine management system.
