You are bidding on a 1956 Austin Healey 100 M Lemans genuine factory-built car. I purchased this in 1974 as a third owner. The car was originally purchased in California and brought back to Ohio in 1967. Factory color is red over black but was repainted solid red sometime before I purchased it. Since owning it, I've put approximately 2,000 miles on it and it is in about same condition as when I purchased it. It has been in storage since 1988. The car comes with the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate (as pictured) and the 100 M Le Mans registry certificate (also as pictured) #FC202.

This Austin Healey 100 M Le Mans:

• Completely original rust-free body. Great chrome and glass
  
• Original top, side curtains, tonneau cover, seats and trunk lining
  
• No fabrication has been done to my knowledge
  
• Everything works- electrical, mechanical (brakes need adjustment), etc
• Original tires when purchased (not road worthy)
• All factory Le Mans numbers match - body, louvered hood, trunk, and aluminum cockpit surround, and engine to body
  
• Engine compression ratings are in the normal high range
  
• Excellent running condition - transmission and overdrive work smooth

I strongly advise that the car be personally inspected by the bidder or an outside source before bidding. This car is being sold as is, there is no warranty. Local pickup only. The remaining balance must be wired to a bank account within 14 days before the car is released.
