Vehicle Description

I put about 45,000 miles on the car before parking it (total mileage about 145,000).The car is in cosmetically very nice shape. It was a great car: good handling, powerful, well equipped.

There were no known mechanical issues when parked a couple years ago. Car has been started recently - the engine runs well. However, the brakes must be redone to be driveable as there is now a hole in the line to the left rear wheel. My wife says it is time for it to go!

Following is a description of important points. I describe the car as best I can.

Good!

  • Body very straight and great shape. Only particularly noticeable corrosion at right front fender trim and at edge above rear bumper chrome strip - see photos. Minor damage at jacking points from prior owner but jacking points are solid.
  • Water pump in last 5-10K miles; timing belt last 35-40K miles
  • Bosch ignition wires in last 10K miles
  • Front aero pan is intact
  • Arm rest phone!
  • Aftermarket Pioneer radio with USB and HD radio
  • Car comes with extra set of worn UFO brake "rotors" and replacement antenna
  • Original key sets

Imperfections and work needed

  • Brakes must be redone (the significant issue that I am aware of)
  • Paint covered with tiny micro scratches (see photos of hood) - these are not obvious when washed and waxed
  • Needs new tires (slow leaks from valves driver side front and rear)
  • Rearview mirror knocked off (located in house)
  • Key cylinders do not work doors
  • Right rear window switch needs troubleshooting
  • Exhaust getting a little noisy
  • Air conditioning does not hold charge (I used mostly for November through May)
  • Hood under-hood release is broken (I work it easily with vise clamp)
  • Headliner loose in rear
  • Minor interior mars on seats, cracked console wood
