Vehicle Description
This 1956 Aston Martin DB2/4 was completed on 28 May 1956 and is one of only 199 Mark IIs built over two years of production. The matching 2,922cc DOHC inline-six engine remains fitted and is paired with the original four-speed gearbox and rear end. A large-valve cylinder head was fitted in 1958, along with performance intake manifolds. Finished in dark blue over beige Connolly leather, the car also features twin SU carburettors, Girling drum brakes, Raydyot fog lamps and body-coloured chassis rims. The service carried out in the summer of 2020 included a fuel tank reconditioning, cooling system refresh, a tune-up and more.
