1979 AMC Spirit Hatchback 6 cylinder

1979 AMC Spirit Hatchback D/L. 258 inline six, automatic. I brought the car up from Florida about 5 years ago and was a Tennessee car before that. Car is originally a 2.0 4 cylinder car, but a 258 and auto (post 80? plastic valvecover)has been put in. Runs good, drives well, but hasn't been driven much in the last few years so not sure I'd head cross country in it until a good shakedown run, has an earlier air breather that needs a spacer to be tight to the carb, so it moves around on the carb. Not sure on the mileage of the motor, but odometer shows 40k (assuming 140k), but runs great and sounds strong. All of the trim is in the car, but not installed. Interior is all black except seats are still the original light blue, driver's seat is roughest. Extra interior pieces in blue and black are included. Have several choices of wheel covers if that is important to new owner. Paint is okay, but has been cheaply sprayed black at some point, looks like car was dark blue originally. Will not include the Spirit AMX grill, will have a stock spirit grill back in it. No carpet, but that shows there is no rust and is definitely a southern car. Body is in great shapewith no rust underneath. Very little surface rust in the wheel wells, some better pictures will follow. Has shackles and traction bars installed in rear. New fuel pump this spring. Rear hatchlock mechanism sticks sometimes. The AC actually blows cools, just could use a Freon charge. New fuel pump just installed.574-952-8934 with any questions.
