What's a Matador? This is a Matador! And a RARE 1974 AMC Matador X! This is a MAJOR project or maybe just for parts!...You are buying this basically buying this as a roller and I'm positive it is and will be missing many parts and pieces...I was told this was a 1 owner car that was passed down to a grandson or a nephew...he had big intentions for a full restoration but as you can see, it has stalled out along the way! Originally or born with a 360 4 barrel, 727, 354 TG rearend, AC, Tilt wheel, bucket seats w/console shift car...Sold new I was told in South Carolina and spent its entire life there...Been sitting outside for a few years, maybe longer...Been apart and moved a couple times over the last decade or longer also....It still has the disc brakes up front, floor shift tilt steering wheel column and a 3.54 twin grip (AMCs version/term for posi) with rear sway bar....What you see is what you get (if you don't see it assume it isn't and/or ask...Basically speaking you get the body on wheels and whatever interior that came with it when I bought it...No motor or transmission and is missing many other components mechanically and otherwise...(For additional $ I can supply a core engine, transmission and/or other components if you are interested - Please inquire PRIOR to bidding or assuming anything)...If you don't see something in the pictures, assume it isn't there or ask me and I will check!
